McMaster Pediatric Surgery Research Collaborative 

Formed in 2008 the McMaster Pediatric Surgery Research Collaborative (MPSRC) conducts a wide variety of clinical research that incorporates several research paradigms, including mixed methods, quantitative, and qualitative methodologies.

The MPSRC group of pediatric surgeons are dedicated to advancing surgical care for children through research activities that are:

  • Evidence-Based
  • Rigorous and Accountable
  • Translatable

The main goals of the MPSRC are to:

  • Collaborate & create partnerships in child health
  • Conduct, translate and disseminate clinical surgical research focused on improving children's health
  • Demonstrate and exemplify evidence-based surgery principles
  • Mentor young researchers
